A Safe Place to Grow
SevenMandate
From August 2009 to March 2010 Victory Christian Center will be
seeking the Lord through prayer. We encourage every individual and
family at Victory to participate in this SevenMandate!
"Why seven?"
Senior Pastor Ed Herald received instruction from the Lord for Victory to pray for 7 months,
7 days a week, from 7:00am to 7:00pm! We encourage you to find a designated time where you can pray
either everyday or continuously throughout the week.
"Why mandate?"
The word mandate means "an official command or instruction from an authority."
This is exactly what Victory Christian Center has received...instruction to pray!
"Are there resources for the Mandate?"
We have created a guideline mandate packet that you can use everyday
throughout each month. The Mandate Packets are currently available in the Lobby
here at Victory or can be provided by calling the Church
Office at (309) 663-7233. The Mandate Packet includes helpful ways to pray,
suggested topics of prayer for each month, ways to pray for Persecuted
Christians and Israel, suggested prayer music and books, and more!
